‍Progress Packaging is a well-established creative packaging production pushing the boundaries when it comes to what sustainability means for business. Since 1997 they have consistently embraced change, identified opportunities, and pushed production boundaries.

Their sustainability goals

‍Progress wanted to push the work they had done so far in ESG to attain a B Corp certification, and were looking for a sustainability partner to help. That’s where we stepped in:

- Building out bespoke tasks designed specifically for Progress to guide them through the B Corp process, from Day 1 to submission through our B Corp roadmap.

- Helped them setup processes to ensure B Corp is maintained and improved over time for re-certification, with reminders and updates in a simple-to-use platform to give them timely nudge.

- Providing expert training around all aspects of sustainability.

- On-hand support to assist Progress whenever they needed.

- Ensuring they had the tools they need to take their systems to the highest ESG standards.

How do you find using the Platform?

‍“The platform is a clear and friendly feeling interface between us and our B Corp tasks. As well as making the task themselves clear to team members, this allows us to assign different areas of our ESG assessment to the appropriate member of staff. We can then clearly see what has been done, what needs doing and what is being worked on.

There is a wealth of advice and direction on there to make unfamiliar processes less scary and to signpost how best to tackle each area.”

‍“Having recently submitted to B Corp Accreditation on 120 points, we are now working on a Net Zero plan, and towards the design and publishing of our first public impact report for June 2023”
